Some bring your own (BYO) devices are eligible for mobile protection. If your device meets the eligibility criteria and passes the required inspection, then yes, you can enroll in the program.
It depends on your claim type and device tier. Approved claims for mechanical or electrical breakdown don't have a service fee. However, if you have an approved claim for accidental damage, we'll collect the applicable service fee by credit card or debit card. To learn more, visit fastclaim.com/totalwireless/service-fee.
*Service fees and claim limits:
Enrollment: You can enroll in Total Wireless Protect while purchasing and activating a qualified Total Wireless device at stores or online. Coverage begins either (i) on the date you enroll your device, or (ii) the date you activate your device, whichever is later. If you choose to enroll in protection more than thirty (30) days after you activate your Total Wireless device, or if you're bringing your own device (BYOD), a visual/virtual mechanical inspection may be required.
Maximum Coverage per Claim: The lesser of the replacement value of the covered device or the original covered device purchase price, minus your service fee.
Exclusions: Loss or theft; service performed by anyone not authorized by us; and losses covered under a manufacturer’s warranty. Refer to your coverage documents for a complete list of exclusions.
Cancellation: You can cancel this optional coverage at any time by calling us at 1-866-663-3633, in-store, or 'in the store, or by logging in to your totalwireless.com account. You’ll receive a refund and/or credit, if any, within the time frame required by law.
