  • If your phone does not display a carrier name, you may have an unlocked device. You can search online to determine if your device is GSM or CDMA capable.
  • Refer to your phone's manual or contact your previous service provider to find out which network your phone is/was using.
  • If your service was active, there are some free online tools to help find your carrier by entering your phone number.

TRACFONE MOBILE PHONES
Please enter the Serial Number found on the red Activation Card that came in your package. If you do not have the red Activation Card, please follow the guidelines below to find your Serial Number.

TRACFONE ANDROID PHONES
Open your Settings menu and then look for the "About" option. Then select "Status" or "IMEI information." The Serial Number may be 14, 15, or 18 digits long and may be labeled "IMEI," "MEID HEX," or "MEID DEC."

TRACFONE PREPAID PHONES
Open your Prepaid menu and look for "Serial Number."

BRING-YOUR-OWN-PHONE (OR TABLET)

CDMA: If your BYOP/BYOT device is compatible with Sprint or another CDMA carrier, you must register it on the CDMA BYOP registration page (if you've not already done so). Then, return to this page and enter the following:

  • For LTE devices, enter the IMEI
  • For non-LTE devices, enter the MEID or MEID DEC

GSM: If your BYOP/BYOT device is GSM (one that uses a SIM compatible with AT&T, T-Mobile or Claro), enter the last 15 digits of your SIM number.

TRACFONE iPHONES

  Go to "Settings" > "General" > "About."

  • If you have an iPhone 4, 4s, or 5, enter the MEID.
  • If you have an iPhone 5S, 5C, SE, 6, or 6 Plus, enter the IMEI.

HOME PHONE
Please enter the Serial Number found on the red Activation Card that came with your Tracfone Home Phone or Home Center. If you do not have the red Activation Card, you can find the Serial Number on the bottom of the device, next to "MEID DEC" or "IMEI."

MOBILE HOTSPOT
Please enter the Serial Number found on the red Activation Card that came with your Hotspot. If you do not have the red Activation Card, you can find the Serial Number printed on a label located on the outside of the device or inside the battery compartment (depending on the model). The Serial Number may be 15 or 18 digits long and may be referred to as "IMEI" or "MEID DEC."

CAR CONNECTION

Please enter the Serial Number found on the red Activation Card that came with your Car Connection device. If you do not have the red Activation Card, you can find the Serial Number on the device label, next to "IMEI."

 

EMERGENCY CONNECT

Please enter the IMEI found on the red Activation Card that came with your Emergency Connect Device. If you do not have your red Activation Card you can find the IMEI on a label on the back of your Emergency Connect Device.

How to Find Your Account Information

  • A billing statement from your service provider will have your account number and contact information.
  • If you don’t have a billing statement, you can log in to your account online to view your account information, including password.
  • If you don’t know the password or PIN and cannot log in, request a password reset from the provider. There is usually a link for this on the log-in page.
  • If the options above are not available, call your service provider. If the provider has retail stores you can also find help there.
